The La Estima Retreat Center remains in keeping with the resort's lifework in order to preserve the cultural and spiritual environment of Belize. All aspects of the setting have been designed with traditional Belizean methods. The architecture and landscape were richly and cleverly developed, flora and fauna abound using indigenous plants and materials throughout the manicured grounds.
Current occupancy includes the River Lodge with nine rooms lined with bunk beds, and seven cabañas, each with two double-occupancy units. The bunk house provides ten more places to sleep, which makes housing for over a hundred persons; the facility, complete with hale thatched roofs, offers an Olympic sized lap pool, a state of the art gymnasium, a conference center, riding stables, and a yoga and movement studio.
